The Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team brings you the following updates:
Officers from the local NHT have responded to an incident in regards to a RTC involving multiple vehicles on Coleshill Road, where nearby road users were safeguarded and local residents were assured of their safety in the community.
Officers from the local NHT have also contributed to the arrest and convictions of two seperate individuals in relation to vehicle interference and prolific shoplifting offences.
Officers from the local NHT have also seizied a vehicle in the Bromford area in relation to it being used in crime, where it had previously aided subjects in committing criminal offences against the local community.
Officers have also carried out stop and searches in relation to intelligence regarding drugs and weapons, where two offenders were searched to ensure the safety of local residents and the wider community. Fortunately, nothing to worry the local community was found.
PCSO's from the local NHT have been down various roads within Hodgehill and the Bromford, where proactive patrols were conducted in relation to reports of ASB and inconsiderate parking within the local ward. The hotspots targetted included: Eastbourne Avenue, Southbourne Avenue, Washwood Heath Road, Ventnor Avenue and Brockhurst Road.
PCSO's from the local NHT have also participated with the local streetwatch groups from both the Bromford and Hodgehill. These are done to reassure the wider community, where key ASB issues have been identified on both wards and strategies are being consulted in efforts to reduce the ASB and safeguard the residents within the ward.
PCSO's from the local NHT have also carried out local shops/stores patrols in order to assist workers and security staff in reducing shoplifting offences in the ward, where prolific shoplifting offenders can be identified via CCTV and prosecuted for shoplifting offences. |
